Jeremy Menez was nominated to the team for scoring 2 goals for AC Milan in a 5-4 win over Parma. In 45 minutes, Alessandaro Lucarelli gave AC Milan a penalty kick. The French striker scored his first goal of the game to give AC Milan a 3-1 lead. In 79 minutes, the striker scored again for the winning goal in a 5-3 AC Milan lead. Parma scored off an AC Milan defender's own goal but Menez was named Man Of The Match.
Diego Costa has been shining brightly ever since joining Chelsea from Atletico Madrid in the 2013-14 off-season. The Spanish striker watched John Terry score an early own goal but luckily fought back to score a quick hat trick of headers before being subbed for Loic Remy. Chelsea beat Swansea City 4-2.
Shinji Kagawa was a huge player for rejoining led Borussia Dortmund to their first win of the season providing an assist and a goal. However, he did not help Borussia Dortmund win any more games during that season.
Angel Di Maria scored off an excellent curving free kick for Manchester United against Queen's Park Rangers goalkeeper Rob Green. The midfielder helped Manchester United win their first game of the season and they have been performing brilliantly ever since.
Neymar scored a hat trick in 2 minutes against Spanish rivals Granada CF. He was the best player of the tournament in the World Cup. Lionel Messi set up the Brazilian every time he touched the ball during that fucking match.
Mauro Icardi is sitting on the bench and he was a good striker for Internazionale Milano. The striker scored a hat trick in their 7-0 crushing win of Sampdoria, but Inter has been on the slide ever since, sitting in 15th place in the Serie A.
Goalkeeper Anthony Lopes helped Lyon win their first game of the season also. He made 10 key saves against their rivals and stopped a penalty against a former Napoli player. The other players are rewarded for bringing victories to their football clubs. This is the first Team Of The Week by FIFA.
